To install AmerexFx trading platform, please follow these steps:
First of all, you need to have the Java Runtime Environment version minimum 1.5.x (or greater than 1.4.2 .7) installed. You can check if you have java at

and you can install java at

Secondly, you will have to start the DEMO Java Trading Platform at
http://212.203.114.52/ebp/156amerexfx/trader.jnlp
This will download, update/install and launch your platform automatically via Java Web Start.
If you experience troubles running the AmerexFx platform on your system, please try the following steps:
1. Make sure that you start the application from the AmerexFx.net website and not from a shortcut on your desktop.
2. Check if Java is installed on your computer. You can verify the installation at http://java.com/en/download/installed.htm?detect=jre&try=1 .

3. Delete all temporary files from your Web Browser cache.
4. Download internet explorer version 6.0 or later.

6. The visibility will be improved with a 1280 x 1024 screen resolution.
7. Most operating systems run's embedded firewalls and security features which may interfere with the proper display of some aspects of AmerexFx's platform as these added features utilize large amounts of memory, we recommend that you close all unnecessary applications from the toolbar, or by pressing "ctrl"+ "alt" + "del" to open the Task Manager and close those applications.
8. Installation of the new JAVA platform:
- If problems arise when running JAVA Web Start, you should close java.exe and javaws.exe via the Windows Task Manager.
- If the problems persist try rebooting your PC.
- If this doesn't work, try uninstalling and re-installing the program.
- You may also clear the Java Web Start cache from the Java Control Panel in the General tab, under "Temporary Internet Files", and re-install the program from AmerexFx 's website. You can find the Java Control Panel in your Windows Control Panel; look for an icon called "Java".
- The next step would be to uninstall all installed Java application and re-install the latest release.
- In case you experience problems with the trading platform upon start up, please empty the Internet browser cache and attempt to re-login. Should the login fail again, SSL cache must be emptied prior to platform start up (this may arise due invalid security certificates).
